Our History
Aurora Glow was born from a single flame —lit in a small candle-making class on a snowy afternoon in Sweden, back in 2016. I had just moved there, adjusting to a new rhythm of life far from everything familiar. That quiet moment —melting wax, fragrant oils, hands busy and heart still— marked the beginning of something I didn’t yet have words for.
As someone who’s spent most of the last ten years living abroad, scent became my anchor. The warm spice of a kitchen, the clean hush of forest air, the soft sweetness of blooming petals —these aromas rooted me when everything else felt new. They held memories, homes, people. They reminded me of who I was, even when everything around me changed.
Aurora Glow is a reflection of that journey —a brand inspired by nature, shaped by the still beauty of Scandinavia, and created with the intention to bring moments of peace, warmth, and belonging into your space.
Now, years later, I live in Switzerland with my husband and our two daugthers. Becoming a mother reshaped my world in ways I’m still learning to name. In the gentle chaos of family life, I felt a need to reconnect with something just for me. Something slow, something beautiful. Something creative.
That’s how this little candle studio came to life. What started as a personal ritual has become a collection —each scent a story, each candle a memory in the making.

Our Materials
At Aurora Glow, every candle begins with intention —crafted slowly, thoughtfully, and always with care for both people and the planet.
1. Materials
We use only high-quality, eco-conscious ingredients to create our candles:
100% natural soy wax: Our luxury soy wax is renewable, biodegradable, and free from paraffin and toxins. It burns cleaner and longer, producing less soot while offering a beautiful, even melt.
Premium fragrance oils: Our scents are carefully curated from high-quality, phthalate-free fragrance oils. Many of our fragrances are infused with essential oils for a more refined, multi-layered aroma experience.
Cotton and wooden wicks: We offer both lead-free unbleached cotton wicks and natural crackling wooden wicks, sustainably sourced and untreated. Wooden wicks bring a cozy ambiance and gentle sound —like a miniature fireplace in your home.
Natural dyes (when used): When color is added, we opt for gentle, non-toxic dyes that preserve the integrity of the wax and scent.
2. Conscious packaging
We believe beauty doesn’t need to come at the expense of the earth. That’s why our packaging is:
Recyclable: We use recyclable glass jars and outer packaging to reduce waste while maintaining a clean, timeless look.
